Everyone, it's overdue, but just had a moment to stop and reflect on last night's election results and I have a few thoughts and emotions to share. First, thank you to the FZ community. I appreciate the support and your vote. I promise to serve the District and the Students very well and I have a few initiatives that I can't wait to see get off of the ground. We are going to do great things. Many thanks to give and it has to start with my family. Thank you. Your support and belief in me kept me pushing forward. I love you. We had some dedicated canvassers and we had such a strong ground game and it was a lot of fun speaking with so many people in the FZ Community. We covered so many of the District's 46 polling sites yesterday and I appreciate everyone involved in those efforts. It was a competitive race and every vote counted. Our second place outcome came down to 10 votes out of 25,000+. Each one of those 10 votes came from someone's effort in this campaign and there are so many to thank. Tom Shaw, Theresa D, Les Eggemeyer, Kathy, Carol P. , Jason & Katie E. , Linda, Marketing Mellissa, Mike, and the Central Committee, thank you. Matt Graham, the election results are disappointing to say the least and it was so close. I was proud to work with you and this Slate of Two we got off the ground. You were tenacious and I can't wait to see what next year brings for you. Fort Zumwalt, I look forward to serving you and I promise that I will give you my best. Just proud and humbled that so many of you saw me as your candidate. Thank you.
